HIGHLIGHTS

Mount Siguniang located at Sichuan, China. Nearest airport to access the mountain is Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Chengdu. The city is the home of the endangered giant panda and there is a research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a conservation center where we can view giant pandas in natural habitat.

Mount Siguniang encompasses four peaks, Daguniang/Defeng (1st peak) 5025m, Erguniang/Erfeng (2nd peak) 5276m, Sanguniang/Sanfeng (3rd peak) 5355m and Yaomei Feng (4th peak) 6250m. To reach the mountain, we will travel to a small Tibetan town Rilong to start trekking towards the base camp a day after. Since the mountain is 5000 meter in elevation, we need to acclimatize our body as preparation to climb such altitude. The acclimatization process includes short trekking at Changping Valley, beautiful valley with small stream and another trip to Haizi lake at 3700 meter.

During winter and spring the mountain will be fully covered with snow. We will take the opportunity to learn several alpine and snow trekking skills. We hope all clients will enjoy the trip and experience the alpine mountain.
